Mike Ansah is a professional hero - monster hunter, magical problem solver, and self-certified genius. He has killed monsters, broken curses, sent wizards running and once talked his way out of a cannibal giant's dinner plans. He is, by any reasonable measure, the most dangerous person in whatever room he happens to be standing in. However he has one small flaw: he finds most things too easy. So when a mysterious organization begins abducting children across the kingdom using invisible rocs, Mike doesn't just investigate. He disguises himself as a nine-year-old, waits in an empty field, and lets himself get scooped off the ground by a giant bird. He now finds himself trapped in a palace of impossible beauty run by said mysterious organization and surrounded by frightened children. Stuck in the form of a not-too powerless child, our great hero must figure out the vile mysterious plans of the abductors and rescue the kids all without any backup while being surrounded by enemies known and unknown.
