Leadership

Uchechukwu Eze Victor — Founder & Lead Engineer
Founder & Lead Engineer

Uchechukwu Eze Victor

Uchechukwu is the Founder and Lead Engineer of Afripad. He turned a shared love of African storytelling into a platform built from the ground up — architecting the technology that lets writers publish, grow, and earn without barriers.

With a builder's mindset and a deep belief in the power of African narratives, he leads the engineering vision behind every part of the experience, from the reading and writing tools to the systems that pay creators fairly.

A Tech Leader and Software Engineer with over eight years across the Laravel ecosystem, Uchechukwu builds intelligent systems that empower African businesses and creators. Alongside Afripad, he is the creator of FrontlyAI, an AI-powered customer support platform helping African businesses automate conversations and deliver human-like service at scale.

"AI for efficiency, stories for identity. Africa's next global wave will come from builders who understand both code and culture."

Deborah is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Afripad, a platform dedicated to amplifying African voices and making African stories more accessible to readers worldwide. A Nigerian education professional, data analyst, and human resources practitioner, she brings a unique blend of analytical expertise, people-centered leadership, and a deep passion for literature to her work.

An avid and voracious reader, Deborah has long been committed to preserving and promoting the rich storytelling traditions of Africa. Driven by a desire to revive reading culture across the continent and beyond, she is passionate about elevating African writers and ensuring that African stories receive the global recognition they deserve — believing that storytelling is a powerful tool for cultural preservation, identity, education, and social transformation.

Afripad was born from this vision: a desire to create a free and accessible platform where African writers can publish, share, and celebrate their work without barriers. Through Afripad, Deborah continues to champion opportunities for emerging and established writers while connecting readers to authentic African narratives that reflect the continent's diversity, creativity, and heritage. Her mission is to help position African storytelling at the forefront of global literature and inspire a new generation of readers and writers across Africa and the diaspora.
