Synopsis

Same routine. Same procedures. Same result. Yet, zero satisfaction. Zero acknowledgement. Life just keeps repeating with nothing new. It isn’t getting better. It never does. Zainab is a young, promising Nigerian graduate. Talent, purpose, and a degree in her hands. Three years after NYSC, there’s nothing to show for it. People call her “promising” but she can’t see anything promising about herself. Not after her boss promised her a promotion, then sold it to the highest bidder. Yet he still calls her a promising youth. Every morning is a repeat: clock in, smile, survive, clock out. The cycle is safe. It’s also killing her slowly. She tells herself she wants more , impact, growth, respect, but more means risk. And risk means losing the only job she claims to hate. Has she gotten so used to the loop that leaving feels scarier than staying? But what happens when something shifts? Something small, but impossible to ignore. One thing that breaks the whole routine and gives a completely different result. How will Zainab handle this part of her life? Not being able to let go because things might change beyond control, beyond routine. Will she take her chance at a better life, or will the fear of “what if it doesn’t work out" keep holding her back?
